I ordered my first pair of these side combs on May 15th, 2015. I have just received my order of August 20, 2016 for two more pairs of these side combs. I loved my first pair, good flex, strong comb and good weight. Now here it is, 1 year and 3 months later and my new two pairs are inferior to my first ones. The curve is different, less in fact, the comb is thin and very light and they cost more. I am extremely disappointed.

If you are like me you must have bought these combs from the store they are cheap and break very easily. Well after buying these I can say with certainty that I will not go back to the cheaper ones. These are the best combs I've used so far. The plastic is much softer on my hair but stronger and more durable than other combs I've bought. If you have thick hair skip this unless you need side combs or keep loose hair behind a messy bun. I don't understand the good reviews at all. These are regular combs that should sell for around $2 each. They have nothing special except that the teeth are out of proportion to the length of the crest. I've been wearing these for years but I had to send them to France so I can't tell you how lucky I was to find them at Revain! I especially like them because you just don't find them that long or heavy here. I have very thick hair and it looks best without wavy teeth and very thin cheap plastic.

The combs are very strong and look nice. They tend to slip and need to be placed carefully. The packaging was good and the little drawstring pouch keeps them clean well.
