Description of ๐Ÿ”ง Park Multi-Tool MT-1C - 9 Functions for Ultimate Versatility

The MT-1 features 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, and 8mm hex wrenches; 8mm, 9mm, and 10mm socket wrenches; and a straight blade screwdriver. Each of the nine tools is carefully positioned so the MT-1 can be effectively used on those "tough to get to" nuts, bolts, and screws. The tool is nominally 110mm long, 35mm wide, and 8mm thick.

Ultra simple robust design. Everything you really need.

Have been using them for many years. No weak pivot points, no unnecessary pads, knobs, etc. Good leverage. I attach 2 or 3 small strong magnets to the blank side and place them anywhere I can find black metal on the bike or just attach them to a CO2 canister.

Pros
  • Makes you happy
Cons
  • Little things

Great simple bike tool! My favorite

I've had one of these for years and use it every day. The shape is very practical and functional. It's easy to put it in my pocket when I don't have a big bag. I was very happy to find out they were still in production, I broke the last one by stepping on it to tighten the bolts on my ISIS cranks (don't do that it will break any multi tool). I must have done that 100 times. ultimately failed. I'm pretty sure it will withstand any force I can exert with my hand.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Great price

Maybe it was done on a Tuesday?

Decent tool; seems worth the price. I'm a big fan of multi tools of all kinds. As with a previous customer, my wrench has a mold defect in the screwdriver. This is minor and should not be returned. I could reshape it with a grinding wheel, but I probably won't bother. It will work just fine the way it is. I give Pak a B+ for overall quality including the quality of the casting. I've owned several park tools over the years and have always found them useful. I'd rather spend a reasonable amountโ€ฆ

It is excellent. No moving parts

This is EXCELLENT. There are no moving parts, so what you see is what you get. The thing is very light and very small. The shape of the hex wrenches is very good - they fit my bike's connectors perfectly with no risk of rounding or slipping out. A nice side benefit is that the short length doubles as a torque wrench - there's not enough leverage. accidentally overtightening something (unless you really try). One caveat: the end of a flathead screwdriver is pretty sharp. If you wear this littleโ€ฆ

The best little pocket tool!

I have been involved with cycling and bicycle mechanics for over fifty years. I had my own bike shop and saw a lot of tools. For a small carry-on tool, minimal but still very useful, this is the best I've seen in all this time. It is an investment cast tool steel (for dimensional accuracy) suitable for 3-6mm and 8mm hex keys, 8-10mm box end wrenches and a small screwdriver. It's too short for very serious leverage with two of the largest allen wrenches, but a 6"/150mm adjustable wrench as aโ€ฆ

Great Tool - Bike Tools & Maintenance

I can use any MT-1 part on my Schwinn Avenue Hybrid. MT-1 measures 4 1/2 inches long, 1 3/8 inches wide, and 3/8 inches thick and approximately 1 1/2 ounces. It's strong but not like solid steel, it feels like alloy, I bent it. I tightened the footpeg screw a bit (8mm) but I put a lot of torque on it and it still works fine, it's kinda good, like old dogbone bike keys, there are a lot of newer bikes out there. There are great tools out there, but some of the vintage bike tools that I enjoy theโ€ฆ

Everything and nothing you need.

When I first started cycling 7 years ago I bought a four pound block of useless micro tools and figured it would be a win-win. I'm the kind of person who loads my car's trunk with stuff to fix my car in case it breaks down, a practice that has become my hobby (now my favorite mode of transport). In those seven years of hard riding and training, in the mud, rain, traffic and mountains, only a few tines in the crowded opening of the tool block I kept in my saddlebag were ever pulled out and used.

Pros
  • Great Design
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging
