I like how this part of the stand sticks out.

Once purchased, this is the only desktop work stand you will ever need. I love how the part of the stand that juts out into the workspace can be easily removed when not needed so you don't bump into it - only the stand attached to the bench needs to stay in place. Ideal stand for repairs.

Professional bike shop level

This is the same clamp used by professional bike shops. Wanted something strong and sturdy installed it on a 2 inch pipe bolted to the floor with a 12 x 12 3/8 thick plate. Rock! It would be just as strong if bolted to the bench, but I made it adjustable in height. The difference between bike shop and Mt and Ms mount is the plastic/composite clamp bushing. Very durable and should hold up well.

Strong tool through At first I was surprised to find that the vertical tube that connects the clamp to the base is made of high density plastic. It looks like a high voltage point that should use metal. However, Pak knows what he's doing, so the plastic bug most likely won't occur, and the plastic allows for smoother rotation along the pivot axis. My problem is that the jaws are not clamped parallel; they stand at an angle. This means that the strain relief "moves" in the clamps, depending on…
