The plug is for indoor use and should have a waterproof housing which is not the case. I'm not impressed with the overall quality.

Light weight Easy to connect Doesn't take up as much room in the outlet as molded plugs that allow you to close the lid when plugged in.

I didn't have to over tighten the screws before they removed the plastic and when I tried to get a replacement they wanted me to send the defective one back which rendered my power cord unusable. .

The only thing better is the connector which is molded into my cable from the factory. I have tried various replacement cords for my 50A RV cord end and this is by far the best. I especially like the folding handle. Reduces connector profile compared to others.

I liked the design. Compact with carrying handle. Works well. Good guide. Plugged in the cord from the RV and dropped the plug about two feet into the driveway. It's broken! If you buy this treat it like fine china. As a replacement, I found a slightly more expensive one with the same design features made from "high-impact plastic".

RV plugs are designed for use in a protected environment as the sockets are protected from water. They have covers to keep them dry. This replacement plug is a high quality plug for use at the end of an RV power cord. It's well built, durable and holds the cable securely. (Waterproof power cords are available for marine use. They are terminated and bolted to seal them watertight.)
