Rip out junction boxes and install recessed boxes for old wiring. They look as good or better, are cheaper, and install in minutes.

Small enough to fit in small spaces and shallow ceiling gaps; if it fits in a ½ inch deep round electrical box. Very bright, darkens very well upwards and downwards.

As electricians we are very keen to buy a product that we can recommend to our customers as it looks good, gives off a lot of light and is very energy efficient. It doesn't help that they are very easy to install! Have recommended her so many times!

I have been using them for several months now and they are good value for money! I bought these to put in my basement as the ceiling is only a little over 7 feet high and I needed a flush mount and these things are less than half an inch high and are the easiest mounts I have ever installed have. I also connected them to a dimmer and these lights work great. I ended up buying more to replace all the lightbulbs in the basement.

These little bulbs glow pretty well. Their subtle trim design looks great. I chose them as a replacement for traditional pot lights. They don't look recessed, but are understated enough not to matter. They consume almost no halogen electricity, dim the light well and do not produce any noticeable heat. A standard 4" ceiling box is all you need and it's much easier to seal than an IC. Total cost per light with ceiling box was less than $8. So far I am very satisfied with the product.
