Excellent quality recessed lights

I have about 20 of these lights at home. Everything works great, and the fact that they're only 1/2 inch thick means you can even place them where the ceiling joists are, which is great for distance.

Wrong dimensions

These headlights are listed as 7" diameter, packaging also says they were only 6.75" when they arrived which does not cover the existing ceiling holes. The seller didn't seem to know anything until I called him.

GREAT PRODUCT in the electrical area

These lights are nicer in real life and I really like their brightness and I can dim them too if I want to spoil the whole house and get lots of compliments. The white circle on the lanterns is thin, which makes it easy to install, and the shipping was fast. I highly recommend this product.

Recessed lights best in need of work

Lights work well and are much cheaper than other brands listed. The junction box is very thin, although it is almost impossible to fit the latches into the connectors without bending the box. Also, the boxes would be more user-friendly if the cutouts were at the end of the box rather than on opposite sides.

No margin for error turning off these bulbs

These bulbs are very bright which is great. Only thing not great is that the holes drilled in the drywall have to be perfect, FYI. There is no room for error as the fairing only has a 1/4 inch lip around the cap. So measure twice and cut in once. I bought a 6" hole saw and it worked great.

Nice Lights: Body and Fairing Kits

These lights are great; Well packaged, nothing was damaged when received. I bought a dozen for a remodel and they all worked great. Looks nice; good light projection and color. Bought 6 more. If I had a suggestion I would ask them to make the sealing flange a bit wider. When installing on a popcorn ceiling, it's a bit tricky to get everything fitted just right so you don't see the drywall hole.

Efficient light on request

I cannot praise this wonderful product enough. These lights are too bright to look directly into. They light up my workshop on a 3 x 3 foot grid. 12 of them emit 6600 lumens. In my case, that's an additional 33 lumens/sf. I installed them myself - everything from the instructions to the hole template was perfect. The instructions suggest cutting a hole, connecting the power, and then plugging in the included junction box, but I could connect the wires before the drywall, so I connected the…

Great product but one note.

I am really very impressed with these lights. Good quality and low profile. The low profile allows installation under the ceiling joist, which is not possible with benches. It should be noted that the junction boxes are metal and if you are doing a new build or renovation with an electrical permit the inspector may require that you put a plastic plug where the wire enters the junction box to prevent that sharp edges cut insulation. for wire. We bought 12 packs of Soft White first. Aside from trying to route cables through tight spaces (nothing to do with the product), installation was very easy. Junction boxes and built-in connectors worked great. There was a box that went in four wires and we had to use wire nuts and that box was a little difficult to fit everything into a junction box but the rest fit comfortably.
