Great article, but beware.

This is loud and easy to install, but be aware that some states may make making noise from your car illegal because it sounds the same as police and ambulance sirens. Excellent value for money and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an SUV.

Bought two, both stopped working after a day

EDIT: I bought a second one and it literally did the exact same thing. Stopped working the same day we received it. β€” β€” It lasted a day. A day after installing it just stopped working. All connections are fine, grounding is fine, power goes where it's needed.

Not 100W for security and surveillance

Yes it's easy to install, no it's not 100W. The volume of both pas and siren is very low. Testing indoors with 12 volts seems very noisy, but once installed under the hood of a car, it is not noisy and cannot be heard by other cars. The siren is also large, there is not much space under the hood in modern cars. Wasn't expecting much for the price, will probably send it back.

After only 5 minutes of work my son was devastated.

Well I didn't like anything. This is a waste of time and money. I installed it exactly as they said, it worked for about 5 minutes. And then never again. Worst of all my 5 year old son saved and saved to buy it. Have you ever seen a 5 year old completely destroy his world in 5 minutes? It hurt me so much to see a young man work so hard to make and keep that money and then it didn't work out. DO NOT DO THAT.

This thing caught my attention.

The product is very easy to install. Just two wires. I just wanted to be able to take it off and put it on. So I just plugged in the charging cable to connect to the cigarette. Cigarette lighter / power supply 12V. It caught your voice but wasn't too loud until you put your mouth on it. then it got very loud. It was small enough to fit under the hood of my car. so it was almost invisible. overall a good product for the money.

Surprisingly Loud Horns

Horn and siren sounds are amazingly loud and accurately reproduce police/fire engine/ambulance sirens. I especially like the horn. The hands-free function is too mild to be really useful. The wires are too short for a typical installation. Most people would agree to running the power cables, but the microphone cable only ran halfway from the grille to the cabin.
