These headlights were purchased to replace the blacked out headlights I had on my truck. This light provided the increased visibility I was looking for. My old lamps needed replacement LEDs that lost contact. This kit features an improved sealed LED design that I hope will last the rest of my life.

The gasket that comes with these lights is not very effective. Even with the silicone ball, the water ruined my first set. I sent it back and bought another set and made it better with Scillicone and I've been doing great for 3 weeks now. Update: Failed after 1.5 years, LEDs no longer light up.

I saw someone else write that a light is not working. Ah no big deal, this happened to me and the seller won't have crappy customer service to fix it. If you decide to buy this, don't buy it in parts. This is for a direct factory replacement. If you don't have factory cab lights, you will need a square punch to insert the brackets. No instructions.

It does not take much knowledge to install them, there are only two wires per lamp, but you will have to replace each connector by cutting off the original and permanently insert new ones, with instructions Two pages to fit in a thimble might be too much for a tall person. some mechanical ability and common sense are required. I'd rather spend a few bucks more on adapter plugs than dams. But they look normal and there are no problems with the light.

I bought a competitor's set of cab lights that look exactly like this. I did this because I figured if you spent $100 on them they would probably be better quality. Boy was I wrong. They failed. So I bought these as a replacement, much better quality. Its structure is simple. You get lens, spacer and base including LED. Well, in this case you might want to measure a thousand times. And stick on painter's tape so you can mark your truck. Update: LEDs are starting to go out and it's not even a year old. They look nice but are not durable. It's not worth it unless you plan on replacing them every year or so. First check: Factory headlights need to be replaced. They are easy to install but require factory wiring to connect. I soldered all the wires and shrunk them open. Update November 2019: After 2 years one of the smaller markers has failed and only half of the main panel LEDs are still lit. The OEM lasted 12 years for me, this one lasted two. Fail. I had a holey center headlight in the cockpit. After a heavy rain, the top pocket of my sunglasses filled with water. I replaced it with this one using the existing body harness.
