💧 PartsSquare FLS-24 Engine Coolant Level Sensor: Compatible with Century Regal Grand Prix 92-02 Impala 00-05 Review

I bought this item because the last coolant sensor only lasted 1000 miles. It was someone from Standard (red box). It is very good that the original sensor lasted 24 years. and now after two years I'm swapping out another one. I hope this is a good company, never heard of it.

This part worked exactly as promised. Warning. The little clip is a booger to get it right, so double check it's right. Not a fault of the product or seller, just a warning that the new clip is more difficult to put on correctly than the old one. After a few scoldings it was on and working great!

Works but barely. I had a typical low coolant indicator problem for the second time due to a faulty level sensor on my 3800 powered car. I replaced the sensor with this one as I'm pretty sure they are all made in China and I didn't want to pay $50 for what I could get for $15. The low coolant indicator will remain on and slowly dim until the coolant reaches operating temperature. Jump on the freeway and everything cools down and the light starts to shine so bright again. So when I went to replace the old one that was still installed, it was literally fused to the radiator. I had to break it into pieces. After removing all the parts, I put this new one in place. This turned out to be nothing more than a port plug in a replacement radiator that I had to fit into my car. Surprisingly, the originally failed radiator did not have a low level sensor hole. It has been completely sealed by the manufacturer. The new cooler was not so equipped and required something other than a flimsy cover for the shipping port.
