I have a 2001 Chevy Impala with the infamous low coolant gauge, I had to replace it with another brand over a year ago. Then it became a problem again. So I bought this. So when I went to replace the old one that was still installed, it was literally fused to the radiator. I had to break it into pieces. After removing all the parts, I put this new one in place. The key thing I did this time, but not last time, was lubricate the o-rings with coolant before installing them. It's been a week now and not once has the low coolant light come on and I've been saved from a constantly ringing alarm going on, off and on again. sweet little Jesus answered my prayers
