good quality, good fit

Replaces broken perfectly. Came with a bracket but I was able to reuse the old one as the screws and porcelain matched perfectly. There are no detailed instructions on which wire goes where, but it's easy to figure out since the "neutral" wire of the wire needs to be connected to a screw that's attached to the lamp body.

Old lamp, new socket

My wife bought an old vintage lamp and after trying it on I found that the socket was wrong. This is an old article so I thought the best thing would be to search for the part on Revain. Of course I found the part I needed, ordered it, got a fair price for it and it arrived in good condition and on time. The lamp works perfectly. I am very happy with my purchase and the service I received.

Updated version and exact replacement for a very old switch design

Surprisingly this switch fits my very old floor lamp perfectly. I could have used some of the fittings from the old switch but the new ones came with the new switch so I used those. Replacing the switch and working with the lamp only took about 30 minutes. This switch is a little tight. It takes a little more torque compared to the old switch, but it works at all three levels: 100, 200, and 300 watts. The lamp actually contains two filaments. The switch works by turning on the first stage…
