The gate was durable but failed to hold up against my persistent pup. The magnetic closure was weak and easily opened with a little nudge, making it useless for keeping my dog contained. Overall, a disappointing purchase from the Pet Supplies category.

Much easier than other wide door brands. It was a bit heavier than the other brand but I had to buy two of them. You could also drill through this bolt if you really wanted to, but you would have to have a long aircraft drill bit and buy bolts or solid threads and lock nuts to do that. Seal it up, as they recommend, and it will be about as weatherproof as a setup like this with no direct draft. A strong protective curtain is in place.
