Description of Patco 5560 Clear Removable Protective Wrap

Patco 5560 Removable Protective Film Tape combines a moderate tack, low adhesion acrylic adhesive with a conformable, durable polyethylene film backing that won't damage or leave residue on most surfaces. It's suitable for general protective masking on glass, metals and plastics that must be temporarily protected during assembly or shipping. It's highly conformable and is resistant to abrasion, solvents and moisture. It can be easily and cleanly removed. Patco 5560 removable tape provides just enough tack to remain adhered during a transfer process, yet since it's slightly less adhesive than blue painters tape, it is easily removable without leaving any sticky residue. Tape rolls are typically cut to standard tape industry metric-cut sizes - or approx 5% narrower than the nominal size (i.e. 24mm per 1-inch of nominal width ordered). Adhesive: acrylic. Carrier/Backing: low density polyethylene (LDPE) film. Thickness: 5.5 mils (carrier, adhesive) 1 mils (adhesive) 4.5 mils (carrier). Adhesion: 12 ounces per inch (to stainless steel test panel). Tensile Strength: 12 pounds per inch (longitudinal). Service/Operating Temperature: -40°F to 190°F. Application Temperature: 50°F to 120°F. Elongation: 500%. Core: 3 inch diameter.

Shit. Garbage: Safety Signs and Signals

crap. I used skid plates etc on my new car because the one I had before was finally starting to wear out. I read the reviews and thought it was great so I bought it. I'm extremely disappointed I've even had alcohol and I'm still watching Rubbish Already peeling and curling Now I'm trying to find what I bought before.

Pros
  • Tensile Strength: 12 lbs per inch (longitudinal). Operating/Operating Temperature: -40°F to 190°F. Application Temperature: 50°F to 120°F. Elongation: 500%. Core: 3" diameter
Cons
  • drill pack

Worked great on a 1500 mile trip when bugs fell on the front edge of the hood. Easy to remove when done. Yes, I know it's not what it's intended for, but I had this new idea and it was perfect. Unless you looked closely, you didn't know it was on the paint. He went through two heavy downpours and got stuck.

Pros
  • Adhesive: Acrylic. Carrier/Substrate: Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) film. Thickness: 5.5 mil (backing, adhesive), 1 mil (adhesive), 4.5 mil (backing). Adhesion: 12 oz per inch (on stainless steel test plate)
Cons
  • I will add later

This protective film is exactly the same as the one you removed from the face of your new phone, tablet, laptop or sat nav except it's THICKER. The transparent version isn't "crystal clear" but is quite transparent, so "translucent" is probably not the right word. As can be clearly seen in the photo, the numbers on my safe's keypad are clearly visible and protected due to the 5.5 mil thickness of the product. The purpose is to protect the digits on the keyboard from "friction" so that a cracker

Pros
  • Tape rolls are normally cut to standard tape industry metric sizes or about 5% narrower than nominal (ie 24mm per 1 inch of tape). nominal size ordered).
