Good for everyday styling but flakes everywhere

I bought this because I needed a strong hold gel that keeps my hair in a military knot and because Paul Mitchell doesn't take abuse. thick, long hair is still hard to hold, unless I use it often and I still get frizzy hair. Most importantly, this gel is VERY flaky when used on loose hair, which is very noticeable on dark hair like mine. You can't run your fingers through your hair at all. I like Paul Mitchell products, but I will not rely on this one.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • No instructions

Trust me it's fake

I originally purchased this product in a small size and it turned out exactly as it should have been. So I bought Paul Mitchell's Super Clean Sculpting Gel in a standard size and think it's a fake. Smells terrible, doesn't work properly. I've been using this product for a long time and I usually know how to get it working on my hair, this stuff is useless. It's either a counterfeit product or it's been on the shelf for too many years to be profitable. It's in time to get it back but not worth…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Functionality

No more friezes! on hair care

I was skeptical when I bought it because I've dealt with frizzy curls all my life (and I'm 44 years old 😁). I really hate sticky gels and often use mousse instead, but mousse is good or bad depending on the weather. So I decided to buy it and I can honestly say it does wonders for my naturally curly hair. It is NOT sticky or heavy on my hair. My hair looks great in hot and cold, dry and wet weather. First I apply it, then I apply Redkin Frizz Cream, pin away the rebellious strands and voila…

Pros
  • Beautiful
Cons
  • Good, but not great

Doesn't look like a genuine PM branded product

I've been buying PM Firm Style Super Clean modeling gel from salons for a number of years but as my local salon is closed due to CV19 I thought you'd better try online to buy. I bought a product that was "sold" on Revain.com thinking it was authentic, but it doesn't appear to be. It's thinner and doesn't smell the same. Maybe I just have a few expired bottles. I can try another order.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Working speed
