🐠 Pawfly Fish Tank Air Pump Accessories Set: 2 Air Stones, 2 Check Valves, 4 Connectors, and 6 Suction Cups Review

One of the two air stones included in the kit is out of the box. Basically a set of inferior barb fittings, some very cheap tube suckers matched only by the cheapest check valves I've seen in my 40+ years as a tropical fish enthusiast.

This kit has everything I need to add air to my 10 gallon tank. I soaked the stone for about 30 minutes prior to installation and used suction cups both inside and outside the dish bin. They are still holding up and there are just as many bubbles as the day I installed them. Highly recommended.

Complete set corresponds to the description. They seem to pack some kind of salt or something with stones because when I just ordered the stones they also came with white salt stuff and no they weren't just bad stones. The only downside is that some of these salts got into the air pump plugs, but other than that there is nothing to complain about and air water plugs do not become brittle or break easily.

Both air stones I received let almost all of the air out very close to the hose inlet and not evenly across the stone. Completely defeats the purpose of large air vents. Also, check valves emit a high-pitched squeak, rendering them useless. Unsatisfied. Update: After longer running time and extensive cleaning, the stones work better. However, check valves are still so annoying that they can no longer be used.

I bought a new air pump and this set. I wish I hadn't. Air stones are crap. The first air stone I used worked wonders for a day or two and then broke.
