Description of 🐠 Pawfly Large Bio Sponge Filter - Quiet Betta Fry Shrimp & Small Fish Foam Filter for Fish Tank (Up to 60 Gallon)

Fine Sponge Filtration: It provides mechanical and bio filtration and traps debris or waste without sucking up your fish, keeping a crystal clear water tank. Large Size: It measures 4.6" D x 8" H. Fit for tanks up to 60 gallons. Suitable for the breeding and feeding of various ornamental fish, shrimp or fry. Easy to Clean: The filter can be easily detached for cleaning the dirt. Rinse it every 2 -4 weeks with aquarium water ONLY. Avoid washing it in tap water!. Quiet Aeration: Air powered and causing no disturbance to your daily life. Do squeeze the sponge in the water to remove all trapped air and make the filter sink to the bottom. Air Pump Not Included: You need an extra air pump to run the filter, which processes external air to promote oxygen circulation, providing a healthier tank environment.

Don't sink! - Fish and Aquatic Animals

This thing is useless, it doesn't have enough weight to sink. It will sink if no air sticks to it, but once you connect the air it will immediately float to the top.

Pros
  • Air Pump Not Included: You need an extra air pump to operate the filter, which treats the outside air to promote oxygen circulation and create a healthier aquarium environment.
Cons
  • Not sure

Overview First impression

arrival time as promised. A bit taken aback, I expected the filter to be smaller. It's not often that I get a little more than I expected. Will try it today in my 10 gallon tank with a Betta. I will update the quality rating soon!

Pros
  • Easy to clean: The filter can be easily removed to remove dirt. Rinse it with aquarium water ONLY every 2-4 weeks. Avoid washing in tap water!
Cons
  • operating speed

It's loud but still great!

Unbeatable in terms of price, but a bit noisy. Sometimes I get annoyed when I hear a gurgle, but my anger is mitigated by the intense surface movement and movement I get from loud bubbles! I use this in my 36 gallons. I took off a star for the noise but I have to say I love Pawfly products and have never been disappointed with them.

Pros
  • Fine Sponge Filtration: Provides mechanical and biological filtration, capturing dirt or debris without sucking in fish while keeping crystal clear water in the tank.
Cons
  • Volume
