The gloves are not used for what they were made for but perfect for what I need. I am an elderly person and I use the barbell not for bulking but for toning and whenever I use a barbell my hands smell like metal. I use gloves and my hand doesn't smell. I ordered 12 packs to have more when a pair wears out. I think I may have ordered a "lifetime supply" as they seem to last longer than I expected which is great. I would recommend gloves. These leather gloves stay on my hands all night. The others I've bought from Revain are made from what appears to be thicker and "plusher" cotton so you'd think they'd work "better" with wet hands, but they're short enough that they don't fit solve almost immediately and thus break the target.
