I am considering my third order of these gloves in 90 days, not because they are bad gloves (quite the opposite) I needed so many because I needed enough to hold one hand to wear while I wash the dirty. I wash them in a separate load on a super hot 2.5 hour hygienic cycle. 10/12 weeks ago my body lost the argument it was having from being on penicillin (PCN) for 20 days. Sensitivities/allergies put a lot of strain on my whole body and both hands. See, my little shots gave me a sore throat. That was the reason for the 1st round of the PKN. I tried to disinfect all the snot in the house. To me, nothing disinfects like bleach. I can't help but be an old school RN for 30 years. That's how I ride. Sometime on day 4 contact dermatitis started on my hands. For the past 35+ years, I've been able to get through this overnight with lotion, Rx cream, and cotton gloves—such, such. The second round of PCN was done because the C&S showed my arms were covered with strep. Before my last purchase of these gloves, I tested them at my pharmacy while waiting for my second bottle of PCN. They wanted $8.95 for ONE glove! I'm not joking! I told the pharmacy clerk I could go to Revain and buy 12 for $10. Please Paxcoo does not increase the price because of this. I photographed: 1 pair unworn out of the box. 1 pair after washing and drying. And a pair of old-school 100% cotton Hamburger Helper gloves, washed and dried. Yes, for the past 35+ years I've been a snob wearing only cotton gloves. I didn't buy size XL because I have huge hands, but because I didn't know if they would shrink after washing. My usual nitrile glove size is medium. I wear size 7 surgical gloves. They have not shrunk. I reordered XL because they are longer. They're not big, they don't cling to my hands, and they don't fall off in my sleep like little hamburger helper gloves. These gloves absorb moisture like 100% cotton, but don't shrink like 100% cotton. After the first wash I ran out of Hamburger Helper gloves. I just wish they had some percentage of cotton and polyester. I don't like that it's unspecified. I think they're hiding something. This is my only real complaint. FTR: I hope you enjoyed the review a little. Let's face it - if you have to wear them for medical reasons, then life isn't that fun anymore. I get nothing from anyone for this review, not even Hamburger Helper. It's the nurse in me that has to tell people that if you know where to look, there's good food to be had.
