Bought for my wife's Janome 11000 embroidery sewing machine, it works just as well as the old one, the old one had a large memory card that had to be inserted into it. Older memory cards only held about 128 MB. She can now put an ASD card in the new device and now uses a 5GB card and stores all her embroidery designs on that 5GB card. No more trading cards to get to the embroidery she's looking for.

This is "old" technology, but works perfectly. I leave the PCMCIA in the slot and just take out the SD card and swap to another. 32GB is the maximum size, but there's a lot of music in there. I have 8 cards in my car. A cheap, simple, but well-functioning solution for older systems.

I've been listening to MP3 music from an SD card on my new MB cars for years. I never realized that my 2010 GLK350 can do that too. The only difference is that the older generation has a PCMCIA slot instead of an SD card slot. It was only after searching the internet that I realized that I simply had to buy this adapter. It is cheaper than the original Mercedes adapter, especially since I bought it used from Revain. Best buy for $11.

I bought this for my 2009 S550 to be able to record music to an SD card and listen to music. Given that I would pay to have access to my music, this was a cost-effective alternative. I received the card quickly and the PCMCIA works as advertised and now I can listen to all the songs in my library. You may need to check your SD card as I've heard some of them may not work. I used a 32GB mini SDHC card with an SDHC adapter and everything worked fine.
