The magnets in this case make MacBooks boot up by disabling the lid's open/close sensor. It also causes the laptop not to sleep and heats up in the pocket in sleep mode. The second version of the Peak Design Everyday Backpack is not a big improvement over the first version. If you have the first version I would recommend sticking with it as this version is just as good as the latest one and you can save some money as they are currently on sale/closeout if you are in the Peak Design market.
