Great shoes! - Cycling

Great pair of shoes, I have a narrower foot and the right shoe tends to rub when I wear thicker socks. I am a cyclist on a hybrid bike with SPD clamps (not included). Great shoes true to size ideal for walking sidewalks or trails when I arrive at my destination. Would definitely buy again.

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • Very expensive

Perfect for the highway and the mountains!

I was looking for shoes for the mountains and the road. These shoes fit both! I have wide feet, no hot spots or numbness when riding. I LOVE the Cobra closure/instep system that slides in and out of the shoe very quickly. Worth the money as it is a quality product.

Pros
  • I keep my fingers crossed
Cons
  • I'm worried

Love these good shoe trainers

I bought these sneakers right before a 2 day enduro rave with some pretty long transitions and some walking sections on the bike. The shoes worked great. Felt great and I love the coral color too. I usually wear a size 7 1/2 to 8 and I'm glad I ordered a size 8. I felt a little tight in the forefoot at first, but that broke very quickly.

  • Cool

The BOA of the left boot is already broken!

Too bad. I loved everything about this shoe but the left shoe's BOA was already broken trying to tighten it! I will definitely come again. Hopefully someone locally actually has it in stock because it's been taking so long. The size is crazy by the way. EC 38.5 was too small for me and I take 7 regularly. I still have to take 39.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Security

Pearl Izumi X-Alp Elevate Bike Shoes

Seems to be a well made shoe and quite comfortable; Unfortunately the size I needed was out of stock and I tried half a size up but it ended up being too big. I have another pair of PI X-Alps of a similar but older model (no longer available) and they seem to fit right away. I usually wear 8.5 in most road shoes but I need 41 in PI MTB shoes. Loved the color red; I wish more women's MTB shoes were made in bolder colors as not everyone wants black.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time

Sturdy, comfortable shoes are good for cycling.

I trained in these shoes in 2019 and did the Divide tour. I bought a large size and read about leg swelling. While I can't report foot swelling, I was pleased with the extra room and the ability to dial in a snug fit if desired. Cycling is what sets this shoe apart. The forefoot of the shoe is pliable and flexible enough to allow for comfortable walking, while the lugged Vibram outsole handles the rocks of Coco's demands well. They are well built and I could see them hitting another watershed…

Pros
  • Comfortable to wear
Cons
  • Not the best

Attention buyers! Runs small

Runs very small! I wear the EU38 with almost every other cycling shoe. I ordered these 38 and they were too short! Returned and increased to full size at 39 but they are still too small! They were not only short again, but also uncomfortably tight. Returned as soon as I tried them on. I also didn't like that the cleat plate on the sole wasn't adjustable for up and down movements. Because the only possible position for the shoe would be low on the ball of the foot. I do not recommend. A real…
