A hole had formed in them on the third ride.

On the third ride they had a hole in the top of their thumb. I have a pair of PI Select gloves and I see no difference between them and the Elite gloves. The selected gloves lasted more than a year without any problems. Bought these hoping they could have a little more padding. Again, I can't tell any difference between the two gloves.

Low quality. wear out quickly.

I've had these gloves for about 2 months. They look more worn than the gloves I've had for over a year and they really haven't been used that much. About a week ago I noticed that one of the stitches between my toes had come undone. They are comfortable to wear but don't really offer much cushioning. Skip them and find another gauntlet. They don't last very long.

  • Great price

Fingerpads for Accessories

Fingerpads for removing gloves are located on the inside of the third and fourth fingers on the knuckles proximal to the palm. The extra material makes it uncomfortable for fingers in that particular area. It's like a double pad. I have small hands. My previous Pearl iZUMi gloves were small. I think if I had ordered a medium size the problem would have been worse. I'm considering cutting them off. My grip would be much more comfortable.

  • Very Impressive

Pretty in Hot Pink - Women

I ordered two pairs of these gloves for active summer cycling. They are well made but run small. I ordered my usual order: size "medium" but found these gloves to be a bit small and tight on the fingers. Next time I will order a large one. Pearl Izumi has never failed in the quality of its products. I only gave a comfort rating of 4 due to the tightness and small size compared to other Pearl Izumi gloves I've purchased.

Comfortable and durable cycling gloves

I usually buy big but with these I needed X-Large. However, they are extremely comfortable and the padding feels strong enough to protect your hands if you slip off. Ever since my hand slipped last fall, I always wear gloves for safety and comfort whether I'm riding 2 miles or 40, and I look for gloves that I feel will last and offer protection. I think it would. I also like the finger loops for removing the gloves - they work very well.

Stay away! Especially if you are an avid cyclist.

These gloves are not high quality at all. I wouldn't waste my money, luckily Revane is great and refunded my money in full. I put them on once and the stitching started to unravel on my fingers causing the material to tear. They also don't have good padding and aren't designed for riding. Will be wearing my custom gel gloves, have ridden several hundred miles including a hundred year run and have had no issues with it. We even bought them at a discount on a specialized website for $9.99! Also a
