Good car care stuff

Bought this to use on vintage hat bands and leather for some vintage guns. Unless you have a serious commitment, the 6 ounce size will last. It has a good consistency for what I use it for as the liquid is harder to apply and drip at times. I called support with some questions about the app and they were very helpful.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Helped restore flexibility to leather sheaths

My uncle was a minesweeper commander during WWII. Like most veterans, he returned home and went about life without speaking of his service in 1940-1945. His parade sword was left uncared for for 60 years before I received it. The leather sheath was very fragile. I have treated my skin with Pekard and heated it with a hair dryer so that it absorbs faster and improves the condition of the skin a lot. Pecard's was recommended by visitors to a sword collection site.

  • Durable construction

Antique seat saver!

I cleaned the old family home. Among the rubbish were many old treasures. One of them was an old rocking chair painted yellow. It turned out to be handcrafted, with a leather seat with brass studs. I used vintage Pecard leather as stated on their website. I carefully applied 3 thin coats with a soft cloth and the result is 100% better. I'll add one more thing before polishing it. love this product! If you have any questions, the company is happy to help!

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Very expensive

If I were a piece of skin I'd love to rub it against me!

Pecard's is amazing. Vintage clothing appears to be identical to regular clothing, they just sell differently. I've used it on all types of leather, from vintage leather jackets to sheepskin coats, from Red Wing boots to leather armchairs. It delivers excellent results in all directions. It is even recommended for skin treated with Chromexcel, which is very beneficial. No matter what skin I use it on, it hydrates and protects without ruining it. I highly recommend it but always check the typeโ€ฆ

Great product, especially for old skin.

This product is easy to apply and softens old skin. We have over 14 saddles and associated equipment, some over 40 years old. This product helps restore the leather's stiffness and adds essential lubrication to keep the leather ready for use. We also use it for very expensive whips. It must be stored and used at or slightly above room temperature. If this is not possible (e.g. in an unheated room in winter), apply sparingly and heat the skin with a hair dryer. We have used many products overโ€ฆ

Works as described - wow wish I could save a before and after photo

It works exactly as described. I had a find in the shed of an old doctor style suitcase/bag, it was dry, brittle and dirty. Cleaning was separate. But the recovery went well. 4 layers of applique was all I could put on before Christmas and I had to wrap the present. Don't underestimate the work of restoring a large item. It worked so well I'm considering buying an old rescue bag. It was nice to see life returning to something old and unique. The skin looked fresh and supple again. I found itโ€ฆ

  • Hands free

You get what you pay for

It's expensive but it works very well. My grandfather's 40 year old withered thick leather belt needed to be revived. I applied three layers and waited 24 hours between each layer for it to sink in. On day 4 I set the oven temperature to 180, applied another layer of dressing and put everything in the oven for 5 minutes. This allowed everything to sink deeper into the skin and made her look old and crusty again. After taking it out of the packaging while still warm, I applied another layer that
