I am returning this gray file. Both sides are very fine-grained. I don't see how this will remove anything. It was also promoted to bring up the rough side. I bought it because of the rough side. I already have foot files from another brand so I know how cool they are. But the brand I bought was out of stock so I tried this brand instead. Mistake.

Almost abrasive compared to other glass files I've used. Both sides have the same grain instead of having a rougher and softer side. It's definitely a smoother file and not the calluses I was expecting. Weight, strength and file size are comparable to other glass files.

I was a bit skeptical about how a glass file would work but let me tell you. In fact, it worked even better than a regular file. I have already recommended it to my mother and mother-in-law.

The glass was thick and the file was durable and held up well. Unfortunately, the file became much smoother after one use. There are parts closer to the handle that are still quite rough to the touch, but are otherwise as smooth as a regular nail file. It certainly does the job, but I'd happily use it more than a few times.

I use them every day to wipe away calluses, my husband teases me that my feet are velcro because they pick up random dirt particles. now they are gone. so smooth they don't rip the underside of my sheets.

Good idea, but the wide, smooth handle of this pedicure file is too slippery when wet. I'm afraid it will slip out of my hand and break into pieces, leaving me barefoot. While I like other files from this company, I've only used this one once and was afraid to use it again.
