Flex Eclipse: a dream for little feet

I cannot put into words how impressed I am with the Flex Eclipse Blue/Blue by Unisex-Kids. It was the perfect shoe for my toddler who is just learning to walk. The soft, flexible sole let him feel the ground under his feet and gave him the necessary self-confidence for the first steps. I liked that the shoes were unisex so I didn't have to worry about picking a pair of shoes to match his outfit. The blue was vibrant and looked great with everything he wore. The shoes were also easy to put on…

Pros
  • Designed with comfort in mind, the Pedal unisex Kid Flex Eclipse features a flexible, lightweight outsole and cushioned sockliner to support little feet.
Cons
  • The blue-on-blue design may not appeal to all children, limiting its versatility when paired with a variety of clothing items.

The Pediped Flex Eclipse is a unisex shoe for adventurous kids. In particular, it comes in a beautiful blue-blue color that will definitely please both boys and girls. The unique design of these shoes makes them incredibly versatile, meaning they are perfect for whatever activity your child might be involved in. The upper of the Flex Eclipse is made from premium leather that not only looks great but is also incredibly durable. Thanks to the Flex-Fit system, the shoe adapts to the shape of your…

Pros
  • These shoes are made from quality materials and built to last. The reinforced toe and heel offer protection and durability, making them a great investment for parents.
Cons
  • The Flex Eclipse may not provide adequate support for children with flat feet or other foot problems that may cause discomfort or pain with prolonged wear.

Zippers break with little to no use

I was so happy with them when they arrived. I bought 2 pairs for my kids, they are a bit big to fit longer. I didn't have to worry because within the first three months both pairs had broken zippers. I replaced the zippers, which added to the cost of the shoes, not to mention the time. Now one pair only had a second zipper break (now on the left side instead of the right side which was replaced). I can't imagine foot sufferers ever getting another chance after refusing to have them repaired or…

Pros
  • The Flex Eclipse's blue and blue color combination is stylish and versatile, making it a great option for any occasion. The unisex design also allows parents to pass them on to younger siblings or share them with friends.
Cons
  • The price may be too high for some families, especially considering shoes are likely to only fit a child for a short time before needing to be replaced.

Dissatisfied

This is the second time I have bought Pediped shoes and both times I have been disappointed. The brand has received the American Orthopedic Medical Association's seal of approval and even claims that their shoes are better than bare feet. However, both pairs of shoes I've purchased that are self-confidently labeled "flexible" because of their supposedly flexible soles surprised me with their overall stiffness, and I mean EVERYTHING about them. This boot has a plastic upper that feels very cheap

Pros
  • Shoes
Cons
  • Slightly torn
