Pelican 1020 Micro Case (Yellow/Clear) Review

I like it very much, great for my edc to keep certain things dry. Tested by submerging in the sink for about half an hour, holds up perfectly. What I don't like is that the rubber insert can take up space in the bottom compartment that I could use better. Number 2, as the seal is part of the rubber liner it cannot be replaced, I prefer it when it leaks a little (over time and with a lot of use). I could just get a new o-ring instead of a whole new body. imo

Just received this case - will not stress test it in any way. I have the red one - it's much prettier than the picture, it's more like wine/blood red. The case seems extremely durable - I bought it for this hard drive case and it fits perfectly! Narrow enough to be almost difficult to reach (which is a good thing!) I just love this Pelican box! I bought this to store fragrances for my K-9 nasal accessories. It's a compact box that has everything I need for practicing on the road (or in the shed or garage). Inside I have three bottles of scented cotton swabs, three glasses, some straws and some tiny magnets. Haven't tried pouring putty yet, but I think putting something in a small packet will work too. Best of all, it's odor proof so my dog won't be distracted while I'm working unless I forget to close it!

Ideal for external USB hard drives. I send them all over the world and they protect them perfectly. retail price! On PX/BX they cost up to $34.
