    Foam or not - camera and photo

    Works Great: Digital Camera Accessory

    Fits my 1050 perfectly, and although the connector sections were much smaller than other foam pads on other Pelican cases, it was still fairly easy to remove the sections if you're not in one were hurry.

    Pelican 1050 case and Pelican 1052 foam

    Perfect fit for my Canon G7X Mark II! I cut out the space for the camera leaving a layer below and did the same for the two extra batteries. Use the excess to stuff the top of the hull. Works perfectly and nothing moves!

    Fits well but would be better layered

    Perfect for my 1050 case. I only wish the foam was 3 or 4 layers so I can remove the pre-cut blocks in the middle layers and still have protective padding on the top and bottom of whatever I have in the case. Everything else works fine, I will definitely buy more

    I bought this product to give my Garmin 650t GPS a snug fit in a Pelican 1050 Micro Case. It works but the density of the foam is very good for it, it takes some effort to get there to get. The foam is partially divided into small blocks vertically, but the foam is so thick that more horizontal grooves need to be added. This turned out to be more difficult than expected, because even with a very sharp knife, the foam is compressed and not cut. Perhaps a "hot knife" or air saw with a very thin…

    Excellent product. Using small squares cut out of Styrofoam, you can make an individual protective cocoon for any electronic device. The foam comes with small squares partially cut the full depth of the foam piece. To customize the foam for your electronics, simply outline the camera (or whatever you wish to protect), then carefully detach the small foam bridge connecting each square to its neighbor and remove the square from the rest of the grid.
