Actually the strap is not included but wider than the height

I really need a shoulder strap but I just can't find a way to contact Revain to let them know it's missing instead of returning it. It must be hidden somewhere on this page! The measurements didn't indicate any direction so I hoped it was taller than it was wide but was less than thrilled as I had to cut the foam to use in stacks rather than long vertical holes which would be just plain stupid. . Noisy because the rings rattle on the side I guess I'll have to bring the bolt cutters to them as I

Wish there were more top loading options

This product works great as it is designed: lightweight, durable, waterproof. My only problem is not with the Pelican 1430 but with the Pelican itself. I was looking for a top loading case to use as a hard case for my motorcycle (KLR650). The only options were 1430 and 1440. The 1430 is a bit small for my needs, but the 1440 is monstrous and weighs too much to use on a motorcycle. Pelican makes boxes of all sizes. If you want a suitcase style, but for top loading cars, these are the only two…

Pelikan cases are hard to beat when it comes to durability, waterproofing, and price.

After 20 years in the military when I need a cover I look to Pelican. It was a decent price for the case, and Prime shipping made it an easy choice. These cases are great for any application where you need a waterproof and durable case. I use it to store firearms and the reinforced locking holes are great for protecting the case. The foam pulls out easily to fit your application, but remember that each grip and tear cut of the foam is the full depth of the foam block, approximately 3 inches. So
