🛏️ Pellon King-Sized Natural Cotton Batting - 120" x 120 Review

I have to write a review about this cotton. I bought expensive brands at quilt stores and JoAnns balked at the price and wasn't happy with the quality. I don't like cotton that falls apart when you put it on your back. Also, other brands will clump up when I machine quilt no matter how well I've basted. This hitting is definitely a winner. The price is right and the e-lashes are perfect for my needs. I will only use these from now on.

Making my first quilt. I really appreciated how quickly the quilt arrived, especially since most shops are closed due to the coronavirus, but that information really should have been included in the description. The batting must be pre-shrunk, which is not possible with an electric dryer. I live in an apartment and I don't have a clothesline. How do I do this now? NOT FAIR! This should have been in the description, I am very upset.

This product feels thinner and smoother right out of the box than other 100% cotton Pellon products I've bought at my local fabric store. It's really very flat. And on a baby blanket I'm making right now. I'm thinking of doubling it in the duvet. I also prewash (very carefully) all my cotton products (by hand with Woolite) and this cotton gives the water a strong caramel colour. So be careful.
