Why change a good product?

I've used Pellon 910 for many years but over the last year or so it's been hard to find. This bolt is heavier and crisper than before, I would never call it featherweight. It used to be soft and draped. I can use this for my project but want to find the original product.

Pros
  • Washing instructions: Machine wash on gentle cycle/Tumble dry low
Cons
  • Dull packaging

The heaviest featherweight material I've seen is

I had feather light masks for my previous masks and my local shop didn't have any. I ordered this bolt and it is much heavier than a featherweight. It's tough and not at all what I expected. I keep it for other uses, but it's totally useless for my purpose. It also looks a lot more modest on the stud than in the advertised photo.

Pros
  • . It's ideal for fabrics like wool and linen, as well as blouses, dresses and light jackets. Style: 910-B10
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other models
