💡 Retro Loft Pendant Light: Vintage Industrial Design, Black Basket Cage Ceiling Lamp for Living Room and Bedroom Review

The price makes this light affordable for consumers. Unfortunately it looks cheap. I'm disappointed. The base of the lamp is smaller than the hole - as you can see from the photos it didn't completely cover the hole. A small part is not covered. Not visible to guests but I know it's there.

I received it very quickly and it's so beautiful! It feels very strong and beautiful! I can't wait to put it on! The assembly looks very easy and it has all the necessary hardware! I'm thinking of ordering another one to either put in my dining room or a few more for my kitchen! Such a great price for something so beautiful! There is a modern retro feeling! I love it! Highly recommended!

The lamp base that mounts to the ceiling is smaller than a typical mounting box, leaving a 1/4 inch gap between the ceiling hole and the base. It comes with 2 wall anchors; Forget trying to use them in drywall. I had to drill holes for self tapping screws through the included bracket and the old one to mount the lamp. I'm still looking for a solution for the noticeable gap between the base and the ceiling.

I love the light but it wasn't easy to adjust the length. If you want to hang it where you want it to stay for a long time, that would be great. They didn't have enough room to put the cord in the base to make it shorter. We had to cut the cable and plug it together. Now it's wrapped in a black power cord that feels distasteful to me because I know it's there. Most people don't notice this because they're not looking at the cord, so for that much money you will!

I really like this lamp. I bought this to go over our kitchen sink for our kitchen makeover. It's not too flashy but has a modern/rustic feel. The size is perfect for pendant lights. I needed someone to help me with the installation (I'm not too keen on electrical work) and the kit didn't come with screws long enough to mount it to the ceiling well enough, but that could be because the holes could be undressed (not the fault of the product). We recently remodeled our mini kitchen changing all the hardware to black and I really wanted the new pendant lights to match and this was the perfect industrial look I was going for . They were very valuable, but we had to tweak them a bit here and there to make them work (the mounting plate was too small for our previous hole, so we had to buy larger plates and replace them). I wish there was a way to straighten the cord so it doesn't look so crumpled, but it will straighten out on its own…

Pretty nice light when I installed it. I had to work out a few bends to properly install it on the overhead switch box. The metal cover was smaller than my standard size electrical box that attaches to the ceiling. Luckily, the previous light fixture I installed was the same color, so I used a metal cover from an old light fixture to fully customize this pendant light.
