Penn Plax PA1 Plant Air Aquarium Review

My tank is 130 gallons 35 inches high. Didn't work for me. Even with the air tone weighted, he still wanted to hover halfway up and basically "hang" the air stone halfway up the tank.

I bought 2 of these for my aquarium and they look great, much better than the clear tube. However, there is also a downside. A real air hose is a very small diameter, not the standard 1/4 inch but 1/16. Adapters were included so I could get it working, but you will need 1/4 tubing to attach the lines to your bladder stone and air pump.

I liked the idea of disguising the air ducts hanging from the back of the tank, always an eyesore, had to put tall plants around it to hide it, so i think it's a great idea, the diameter of the tubing used in it is 1/8 instead of the 3/16 all my air pumps use, so you'll need to buy an adapter (or use silicone and glue one in the other) to make mine work. , You can move the plant parts to make them as tall or short as you like, very easy to adjust, if they make the tube taller, it's a hit.
