A good camera in film photography

I love this camera. I bought it because of the zoom function. The only issue I had is that it has focus lock and during a recent gig I took a lot of photos while they were moving so that was the only thing that bothered me. This problem was the fault of the operator, not the camera.

Pros
  • Useful not just for its intended purpose
Cons
  • too stupid

Clear pictures! on the subject of film photography

I've never had a better camera. I found the Kodak 800 film to be the best for this camera. The camera automatically adjusts to the lighting and has an excellent result in the pictures. This camera is very easy to use. I choose her, not the DSLR. Great for anywhere, anytime, and most importantly, everyone.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons

"It works like a Rolls-Royce in my hands! "

It will be quick and easy. Buy it! This is the best point and shoot camera I've ever had. The zoom is long enough to be extremely useful and it's smooth and tight! I can't imagine using all the features of this camera, but it's nice to know that they are available. Newer Pentax cameras of this type seem to lose some of the features that this camera has and certainly don't retain the looks and quality. the feeling of it.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Clarity

shutter problem

I bought a camera. It worked well, the pictures are good, the first year was still under warranty. After the first year, H1 and H2 started appearing. This means you have to take it to a camera repair shop. Which in turn told me the problem was with the shutter. Shutter problem $140 to $210. I can buy a new camera. [but] who wants to buy a new camera every 2 years. These must endure. Well maintained for at least 5 years. So be careful buyers, you may spend the same amount of money to replace or…

But it would be great.

While traveling in Europe this summer my wife and camera were stolen in Cologne. I've looked in many places for a replacement and settled on the ESPIO 160 (German version of the IQ Zoom). Less than a week and a half later the camera broke while we were in France and it was Bastille Day. No shop was open where we were so we lost a day enjoying some of the best scenery we have ever seen. The week and a half it worked was great, but now Pentax is giving me trouble because it's coming from overseas

Pros
  • Lasting test results
Cons
  • Sparse instructions

great camera

Wow - I bought this camera less than a year ago and have been taking amazing professional quality photos ever since! I assumed that for the price it would be a regular camera with a few extra settings and options, but once I started taking my first photos I was very pleased. The red-eye reduction didn't fail, and the night setting gave me some stunning shots of colorful fireworks. I would definitely recommend this camera to anyone looking for a powerful camera (mine still looks brand new)…

Incredible Photos

On a recent trip to the Rocky Mountains, my family and I were blown away by the breathtaking snowy scenery. I couldn't help but think that the photos I took couldn't convey that experience. I was wrong. Pentax (which I bought especially for the trip) produced top quality images. The 160 zoom came in handy for capturing my kids' activity on the slopes while I stayed in the cabin :) I was particularly impressed with the Pentax's ability to handle the difficult light conditions that snow creates…

Good camera but there is one complaint.

There's no reason not to love this camera. It works great and I've had great results with it. The only problem is that it drains the battery like an alcoholic binge drains its liquor bar. If you're taking your camera on a trip or whatever, make sure you have a fresh battery and a few spares. Insert camera. Too many times I've turned the camera off and put it in my bag only to later find out the power button was messed up and the camera was on and the battery was dead. Not exactly a…
