I like to use the thicker 1mm Stretch Magic cord when making jewelry with heavier glass beads. This cable is durable and easy to use. I always stretch the cord before using it and tie 2-3 knots which I then seal with clear nail polish to keep the knots tight. The black cord is great for working with darker beads.

I use this for my polymer clay Christmas decorations. It's strong, easily bendable, but not too stretchy and doesn't stretch. The only difficulty is getting the knot nice and tight - you have to pull hard to put a crimp bead on it to keep it secure due to the cord's strong memory. I really like this product for its durability and will continue to buy in this or extra large roll size.
