The seal regularly falls off and all the water comes out

I have bought three of these hydrators and all three have had the same problem. There is a seal at the end of the hydration tube (that goes into the hydration bladder) that falls off VERY easily. This will drain all the water. I lost all the water several times. It's very frustrating to realize that my bladder is empty and the trunk of my backpack is full of water. Otherwise, these bubbles are of great value, but this glaring design flaw renders them useless. They should come with extra pads or

Leaking mouthpiece but decent bladder + great customer service

Edit - the seller was excellent and when I contacted him about a leaking bite valve they sent a brand new pouch and hose. I'm currently testing a new phone, but everything seems fine. The support agent made sure the replacement was acceptable. The replacement device is fantastic. Upgrade to 5 stars for excellent customer service. The bag was fine, before first use I rinsed it with vinegar to get rid of the plastic taste/smell, but as soon as I connected the hose it leaked. The mouthpiece slides

Well designed, well made - great product

I bought this tank to replace the North Face tank that I bought with my backpack from Costco. takes up as much space as the 2 liter tank it replaces. I think it's partly because of the divider in the middle that keeps it flat. I took it on two hikes the first weekend after I got it in the mail. It's very well made, not a drop spilled, and I love the fill/seal mechanism, especially when compared to CamelBak chambers which are almost impossible to fill without spilling. I don't worry aboutโ€ฆ

Awesome affordable hydration system that withstands pressure

This is a great hydration bladder! I wanted to save money instead of buying a famous brand and it didn't disappoint. I followed another reviewer's advice and left the baking soda + water in (including in the tube - done but soaking up the water) for 24 hours. It worked! The water tastes like water, the backpack works great, doesn't leak, and I've walked over 120 miles from Glacier and Yellowstone to Bryce and Zion National Parks. I recommended it to a friend and she bought it too and loves itโ€ฆ

Damn, orange cap!

I bought it mainly for its length. I have the Ultimate Direction hydration vest with extra long hydration pocket and it fits me perfectly. However, there were a few issues that prompted me to write this review. First, the orange clasp sticks out quite a bit at the ends. If you're using this in a backpack or whatever with some padding between you and your bladder, it's probably not a big deal, but if you're using it in a lightweight vest/backpack, be careful as it creates awkward friction points

  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Does the job when camping

I bought a 3 liter tube to cover longer runs as my 2 liter Nathan tube wasn't big enough (the picture shows my current 2 liter Nathan tube (clear)) and a new 3 liter tube TruMod bottle (blue)). The TruMod Tank didn't quite fit into my Nathan Hydration Vest, which was supposed to have a total capacity of 5 liters. I specifically chose this hydration vest because it was the lightest (ie smallest) I found and had a 2 liter bladder. So I'd say this 3 liter tank will fit in all but the smallestโ€ฆ
