Marti Michell's Dresden Platter quilt templates arrived quickly, nicely packaged and are of good quality. I am using them to make a peacock tapestry using the largest feather template. The product is highly recommended!

I've never made Dresden cymbals but love looking at them. Me bought a $30 glossy book to learn this technique it is so difficult that i quickly lost interest let me just say this little booklet is a quick read and comes with amazing templates now i am ready to make dresden blocks.this set makes it so easy.good price too.

I wanted to make some Dresden plates with curved blades and I ordered these templates. I wanted to be able to cut the fabric with it instead of just tracing them and then cutting with scissors. I used a very small rotary cutter (18mm?) and was able to easily manipulate the curved top edge. However before cutting I sprayed some adhesive spray on the back of the stencil to keep it from slipping off while cutting and it really helped. In fact, it worked so well that I ended up cutting more blades…
