I always need ice for hiking, sports, fishing etc. I got tired of buying overpriced ice so I bought an ice maker and then switched over these bags to hold the ice that I make I like to pack ice from the freezer for ice making on the way out and take ice from the ice machine for drinks. These pockets are durable and hold a lot of ice, and I love the easy zippers to keep them closed.

I have ordered different types of these bags to pack my own ice cream. I live in South Florida and ice cream is expensive. This bag is a MUCH better deal for 100 bags AND it's a lot thicker than those that sell for around $20. You can use spiral binding, but you can also tie the top of the bag. The most important thing is that they are thicker than the others and do not tear.

We recently bought a tabletop ice maker to use when our family gets together and when we freeze veggies from our garden. We fill two or three ice packs at a time and put them in our freezer. Never wait for ice from the fridge ice maker again! The bags are just the right size and can be reused, but due to the cheap price I probably won't recycle them. Good product, good price.
