While these cotton balls are soft and absorbent, they are definitely smaller than I would have expected from something labeled "medium". Lately I've been squeezing two balls together to create enough surface area when using an astringent facial cleanser. I figured I'd get a bargain if I ordered a pack of 500, but back then I spent $7 for 250 cotton balls.

Received my order as expected but am a bit disappointed with the size of the medium cotton balls. Medium cotton balls are very small. I have to use at least two cotton balls at a time to get the job done. If these little cotton balls were medium sized, I would assume the little cotton balls are microscopic. Best case scenario, you'll need to use at least 2 or 3 of these at a time if you plan on using them to remove nail polish or makeup, but I think they'll be fine for first aid. It is unlikely

Medium size? that's laughter These cotton balls are small. It actually works better for me so I'm very happy with them. A true average size would be too big for the purpose I need it for. However, if you want small balls these are your guys, but if you want true medium you won't find that with them.

I can't see the information on this screen but I think they are listed as 'medium' cotton balls and the picture shows a larger cotton ball. These cotton balls are actually almost microscopic. They can be useful for very fine crafts or a one-time use to soak in isopropyl alcohol to clean very small areas of leather, but for any other use they're a waste. I think I'll throw it all on fire. I've never used such a dirty cotton swab. they are thin and don't hold up well. They are not essential for removing gel polish. they just want to turn around and fall apart. worst cotton balls. I definitely wouldn't wear them on my face. I probably would have covered my whole skin with cotton threads. More doesn't mean better. Instead, opt for a better product, such as large cotton pads.

These balls are very small. More like half a ball. If you're using them to build Santa's beard on colored paper at age 5, this is for you. Santa doesn't mind little balloons. If you use these half size balls to apply the solution to your face I would keep shopping. Find bigger balls. Since these balls were well cleaned and nicely packaged, I'm giving them a few extra stars.
