Went like clockwork.

When my son replaced the engine in his 1994 Chevy 2500 truck, we found that they installed the wrong filtration system and didn't seal it well. His new mechanic told me what to look for and we found it. I bought it as a Christmas present and he loved it. the red matched his red truck perfectly!

The best mod for my TBI 350!

Amazing! Almost no alterations were required to dress! It's been less than an hour and now my truck sounds angrier, pulls harder and is more responsive! The best mod for my TBI 350! Barely noticeable when idling or driving, but if you hit the ground you can actually hear the throttle open as the rpms increase! Gives a nice racing car sound in combination with my headlines and real dual flowmasters! It sounds so beautiful that even the devil will smile!

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Definitely a good buy for an old v8

I installed this product on my 1994 Chevy Blazer k1500 and it really brought the 5.7 v8 to life. I used to have just a little bit of torque and a front end in first gear, and other than that it was a slow truck. Now I get amazing torque and power in both 1st and 2nd rpm range. It's fun to drive now, and believe it or not, it's pretty quick. I'll say the product felt a little cheap, but I think you should expect that from a $50 cold air intake.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Volume

The center bar to replace the factory air cleaner clamps is wrong, get set.

No instructions. It would be 5 stars if the medium pressure bar actually worked. The center bar to replace the two factory air cleaner brackets may or may not fit, just throw away. Good price for what you get but be prepared to do an offset center pole. I used one of the original sticks and bent it to fit. The planned stop is taken correctly.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Unfashionable

WORKS ON ALL 5.7L 350 FROM 1988 TO 1995!

Very easy to install, I bought an extra pipe to get it closer to the grille and rerouted it to pull in more cold air behind the headlight. The included brackets bend easily and work well, I also bought a black rubber plug and plugged the hole for the vacuum system. It has a hole so you don't have to use the plastic TBI fitting. But I'm so high with it. The filter is fine, but k&n has one for $30.

Very simple and effective, but you may need some mechanical tilt.

Used on a 1989 Chevy s10 Blazer with a V8 400 and an aftermarket throttle body, fits perfectly and does what it's supposed to do, although the setup is for an early 90's TBI engine, The throttle body is carburetor air intake style and same connection, just don't use the included retaining screw. I can recommend it at any time, very good value for money. Note: The supplied hose clamps are undersized and require fiddling to get them to work. I ended up buying two new hose clamps for only $0.48…

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Not bad

I had to bend the bracket to fit the main pipe where the dipstick is. then the cheap air filter glue eventually failed and left this cool metal round thing it was badly glued in I think and the welds are of course sloppy but it works which for this setup it costs too much for 53 bucarus, you mean , it's a $20 15 pipe and filter and a $20 plenum thing that's a lot of fun to play around with, but expect some modifications to be made to make it a permanent part, and look at the protection of the…

Fits Chevy R10 with SB 350

Before installing on my 1987 R10 (like C10) with small block 350 I powdercoated the blower box and pipe with chrome powder and then with translucent metallic red and it looks good and it works great! I used my stock wing nut for installation as the included thumb grip didn't have enough force to push it firmly against the air intake. This proved to be too much pressure on the unsupported aluminum and it began to sag under the wing nut. To fix this I drilled through the top of the thumb grip to…

  • Confident
Cons
  • Long Lead Time

It's better than the standard limited set

Looks great when you first get it, well, with a few scratches. Sturdy construction except for the clamps. They're the best, but they work. Mounting bracket hole for attaching to the probe. Forget it, I did this when I first fitted it to my 5.7 and it heats the mount on the intake manifold where I couldn't touch it with my hands. Bracket removed, much better. He's not really needed, I watch him. I've found that it's best to place it directly on top of the probe as it gets more induction away…
