Works great: Tools and gear

Solid tool, great price, allows me to do the job myself when mechanics need a small fortune to fix my brake pads on my '05 Dual F350. Quite simple task, just watch the video on the channel everyone is using.

'06 F250 4x4 Dana 60 Rear Axle

Works as it should. Fits perfectly on the lock nut. It turned out to be cheaper than going to the auto shop and buying it. I'm glad I have it now for the future. I saved a few bucks by making my own rear parking brake pads.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Low maintainability

Perfect for steering and suspension tools

This tool is perfect for removing the rear hub nut on my 1996 F250 with a 10.25" Ford rear axle. I don't know how you're going to remove the nuts. without such a tool, but I can say that removing it was pretty easy with it. Remember that the left side is a left-hand thread. Good quality and good price. It would be nice if it was made in the USA but otherwise they would never be able to sell it at this price.

  • Best
Cons
  • Cord shorter than other tools

Successful with some modifications

Used to remove the lock nut from the 2wd Tundra v6 front hub. The pins all broke immediately when I tried to use the tool, but I bought a couple of barrel pins from Port Freight which after some drilling and hammering fit. He took the nut off, but couldn't put it back on to 200 foot pounds with this tool, so I highly recommend buying a pair or more if it's your first time using it.

  • Nice packaging

The tool worked perfectly on a 1988 F250

This tool worked great to remove the rear axle ratchet nut on my 1988 F250. I needed a tool to replace a leaking rear axle seal. Not only could I use the tool to remove the axle nut (which was its intended purpose), I was also able to rotate the tool and use its arms along with the socket extension to gently pry the rear bearing out. and seal when replacing these parts.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Some errors

Keep Looking.: Wheel Bearing Tools

I have this tool for a one time (hopefully) replacement of the wheel bearing on a Tundra 03. The pins are actually roller pins as you can see and they all bend when you Applying 203 ft/lbs of torque to a lock nut on a hub or when attempting to remove an old nut. Yes, and the pin holes are deeper than the length of the pins, so please don't drop it, or you need to buy a new one! Keep looking for a tool with solid pins, or pull out those pins right away and replace them with longer spring pins…

Buy more than one! in Steering and Suspension Tools

These things are total bullshit in my opinion. I bought two and ended up having to take them to the store. The pins in the holes are loose, and as soon as I unscrewed the pins a little, they fell out and went under the lock, but. As a result, with the help of a hammer and chisel, he removed the paneling. Then I tried using the second one and you can see what happened in the picture. I even cut out some small drill bits to make my own pins and while they worked better than the ones that came…

1999 Replacement F-350 hub seal

Perfect for replacing the hub seal on my '99 F-350. I have the Traction Lok version of the differential. If you haven't already, I recommend reading the service manual, YouTube, etc. The custom nut requires special tightening procedures and the procedure is different for the 3(?) possible differentials Ford used. The seal is also special and affects both hub removal and replacement. Pressing the seal into the hub also requires care as it can easily be damaged. This is an interesting seal as it…

10.25/10.5 sterling tool

I purchased this tool for my 10.25 sterling tool in my 1995 F350 to remove the wheel hub and being able to repackage the bearings. This tool did the job with ease and will last a long time. For anyone looking for this tool but also need a front axle nut head for 4WD vehicles look for a gearwrench kit, which includes this head as well as a 6 point head for 4x4 for front axles from 3/4 to 1 ton 4 points for 0.5 ton front axles and also comes with a universal spindle puller The spindle puller fits…

The socket works, but hardly. Weak hollow pins. Pins misplaced

Pins not drilled in correct locations and hollow. The nut requires over 200 ft-lbs of torque. The pins had to be solid steel or stainless steel, and the position of the pins had to be better so that they fit properly in the nut holes. I got the tool working and it took 2 people to get it working and 1 man pushed the socket with a pry bar to get the pins into the holes in the locking nut. I would pay more money for a better tool to avoid the tool doing its job. The socket works, but hardly…
