Performance Tool W1466 Squeegee Handle Review

Squeegee works perfectly. The only problem I have is the quality of the paint. I have a mop in the back of my truck and just recently it rained for a couple of days and the mop was in the water. The paint came off in the area of the mop that was in the water. I've ridden mops in the back of trucks I've owned for the past 30 years and never had this problem.

For the price this mop works very well and does the job. I use it about every other day to clean my car and wife's windshields (there are so many bugs in Texas, so many). The design is adequate enough to cope with its direct duties. The only downside I have is that the head regularly starts to detach from the handle, but it's fairly easy to squeeze, so it's really not a big deal. I love this peeling and can only recommend it.

Secured with plastic wrap on arrival and quickly fell apart on removal. The handle is screwed into the metal of the nozzle: a common design. In this case, the handle could not be tightened, as if it was designed for a smaller head. Contrary to the picture on the Revain website, the threads on the metal part are smaller than the circumference. Finally someone made one with a rubber insert deep and flexible enough to handle curved surfaces. The problem with most of them is that the rubber scraper doesn't match the curvature of your car's windshield. This is because most other brands use a very hard rubber insert that when applied to a curved surface will only touch 50% of the 8-inch width, and that's on a good day. The others I've had before require you to go through the same spot 4 times to get an 8 inch wide proper squeegee. Bravo…
