Must be at hand.

Essential in every tool box. It's both the best and worst tool on the planet, with a slight tilt when needed but notorious for pinching your finger if you're not careful.

Average instrument. the best of universal joints and parts

This is a universal joint like any other. The connection is sloppy, so it is sometimes difficult to install the outlet. I would like it to be more firmly riveted and ideally with a screw to adjust the tension. For the price it's ok.

It doesn't rotate like universal joints.

Haven't had it long enough to actually wring it out, but it works better than the universal joints. This allowed me to get clout around small corners where I would otherwise have to use a wrench. It doesn't rotate like universal joints.
