Not thin wall socket

Bought for an old bike. I have a thinner 18mm deep jack that works fine if I stick a small piece of blue tape in it. This item is too thick to reach the fork. It's not expensive so I keep it to myself. I take out the rubber and plug it into my old outlet.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Appearance

A thick wall may not suit your application

Nice strong deep head but it has a thick wall so I had to grind the sides to fit the spark plug socket I dress up 'T I don't recommend it. What I don't understand is why Revane would want me to rate this product's stretchability and how easy it is to read. Seriously!

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No mold required

Glue in rubber sleeve

As others have said, the rubber part inside is not very reliable. As soon as I bought it, I pulled it out and superglued it, then put it back in place. I've used this socket a few times since then and the rubber part seems to stay in place. Otherwise it works great and is worth the money.

Pros
  • Test for one year
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Perfect Fit for Nissan Rogue Spark Plugs

This plug is perfect for our 2015 Nissan Rogue Spark Plugs. Save lots of money at the dealer and change spark plugs with this tool! You'll also need an outlet extender, but if you know what you're doing, this tool will work great. It was pretty tight on the connectors so I had to pry it off with needle nose pliers, but that wasn't a big deal. I prefer it a little tighter than too loose.

Barely Deep - Tools and Equipment

This head did the job but only to work with a Honda pressure washer with an NGK BPR6ES spark plug. The rubber grip didn't really compress the spark plug and actually got in the way, making the socket a little flat compared to the spark plug. I had to apply quite a bit of pressure to compress the rubber enough to wrap the hex portion of the spark plug. Fortunately, there is enough room in the Honda engine to manually rotate the plug after the socket has made its first few turns.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Almost OK

Did a plumbing job (faucet wrench)

Actually needed for plumbing (3 valve shower set US Hampton standard - mixing valve requires 14mm deep socket to remove - standard faucet wrench will not fit) - the socket can accept a key on the drive end (has six sides on it) - so you can get torque without using a 3/8 drive. You will need to slightly enlarge the hole under the square drive end of the wrench to allow the valve stem to fit - the length of the valve stem does not allow the use of a 3/8 socket.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Annoyed

Overall the socket works fine and is solid enough to remove and install spark plugs - I would giving those 5 stars other than the fact that on the second plug the little rubber ring holding the plug in the socket came out of the socket when the tool was removed from the car - and anyone who has ever changed plugs on a modern car , knowing that most of them are down in the plug tubes where they're hard to get to, so I had to unplug, remove the rubber holder from the plug, and then plug the…
