Flimsy and Unreliable Material

The PERFORMORE plexiglass panels for plastics are a total disappointment. As a result of using this product, I found that the material was extremely flimsy and unreliable. Although marketed as industrial and scientific grade, it feels like a cheap material you can buy from a dollar store. The only pro is that it comes in a pack sheet, which saves some time in cutting the material to size. However, this does not make up for the lack of durability and quality. I would not recommend this productโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to cut and manipulate to fit specific needs and sizes.
Cons
  • The panels may be susceptible to cracking or scratching more easily than other materials, leading to a shorter lifespan and potential need for replacement.

Suitable for my purpose

The panels have been provided with a blue foil to avoid scratching. It's a little difficult to start peeling off, but I can't complain because the film worked. A bit flimsy so it flexes a little more than I expected. However, when used in a picture frame, this is not a problem. I haven't used it in a picture frame but still haven't had a problem

Pros
  • Plastic
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

Clean clear! Best in Raw

This was one of the few plexiglass offerings at Revain that didn't come in bulk or in large chunks, so it was exactly what I was looking for. Completely transparent with no flaws and clean edges, all the same size for the 10 pieces that came in this pack. Definitely recommend! I didn't have a caliper to measure the exact thickness, but it was the thickness I expected and within the specs I needed for the plexiglass to be thin enough to have flexibility.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • boring packaging
