Long wait - worth it

Small lens. Smaller than Fujinon 28/2.8 or 35/2. Fit and finish are good. Apparently well done. metal and glass. Fits snugly through the metal bracket on the Fuji X. I counted 12 aperture blades. Smooth aperture adjustment without clicks. Manual focus works well with the Fuji Focus Peak. Swirl bokeh wide open. The color reproduction is not on par with Fujinon prime lenses. Still pretty good. Great deal at $70. The seller contacted me about the mixes that are lagging. I still haven't received…

Excellent performance and hard to compare with its price.

The lens is smaller than the pictures show and I love it. It's very well built, all metal, feels solid. The focus ring is soft, doesn't play much, which is desirable, with a good movement. The center image is very sharp, much larger than my Nikkor 28mm f3.5, I just appreciate the side edge distortion which doesn't bother me too much. The colors of the Fujifilm xe1 are incredible and the price makes it hard to match its performance. There was only one problem and that is that the screen throws…

Pros
  • πŸ‚ Perfect aperture with 10 aperture blades
Cons
  • No power

ALMOST what I was looking for, but not quite

Let me start with this: 25mm Pergear is a pretty good option for those who are new to photography or a new camera system and are looking for an inexpensive, tiny, durable, sharp mid-range lens that they can throw in a bag or clip to their camera at any time. If this is you, take one. BUT. It has some disappointing flaws that for some may be enough to ruin the experience. PROS: - so tiny! It is extremely pocket-friendly and very discreet when installed. - Focus stays where you put it! That…

Pros
  • πŸ‚ Aperture range: F/1.8 - F16
Cons
  • I don't have much dislike for it, everything is fine
