Good product, suitable for bird and wildlife watching in the garden

Good product. It mixes easily and well with water. I don't have many orioles in my area. Hummingbird likes this. I'm trying to attract the Oriole to my area. Also woodpecker down seams to try.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Not fashionable

Not only orioles like it, but other larger birds too

Not only orioles like it, but other larger birds too. I have several woodpeckers that come to drink several times a day as well as my hummingbirds.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Not bad

won't drink for birds

I had no luck with orioles. Got a feeder to put an orange in and it was great but when I hung the nectar they didn't fit. It's on my shelf in my closet, maybe next year.

Pros
  • quality construction
Cons
  • a few little things

Orioles Granules (to mix with water)

March-April 2015 I had a small number of Orioles visiting daily and when I switched from my fabulous sugar water recipe to this one they literally disappeared. Orioles no longer exist. (I live in So Cal). What a waste. I can't call it nectar because nectar is inherently irresistible.

Pros
  • Grand Prix
Cons
  • Disappearance

Better early than late

Received too early (was a GREAT addition(s)) the nectar donors won't release until mid April/early May, although it's good to know they'll be there when it's time nectar laying feeder . Quick and easy to prepare: just pour the right amount of powder or everything into the appropriate container; mix with cold water, stir and fill the nectar dispenser; an 8 ounce box yields 48 ounces of nectar. Some of the many birds that will drink this nectar are orioles, scarlett tanagers, hummingbirds and…

Pros
  • Confident
