I have been using the PermaGrit sanding block to shape wood and fiberglass for over a decade. This reduces the cost of sanding and smooths out any bumps or grooves.

It really doesn't cut well. Should have probably bought the rough version. Disappointed with this product. Get a large square edged sander with both smooth and rough sides, it works much better.
