Perma Sharp Double Safety Blades Display Review

I'm not the most experienced shaver but am reasonably confident in my shaving skills and technique. These blades are not as sharp as the Feather blades, I would rate these blades just one notch below the Feather blade on the sharpness scale. I bought these blades in July 2016 and they were Perma Sharp blades. no confusion I could see how they could have had problems in the past since they were packaged in a white plastic bag. It has a small sticker showing the brand of the blade. This is probably not the best way to package them when other brands stand alongside. They fit me perfectly and allow for a very close shave. Not the smoothest/sharpest I've tried for face/hair (I personally like Gillette 7 O'clock Greens) but I can still get BBS without irritation. I think a lot of people try really hard to find the right blade that will give them an irritating shave, but tend to forget a bit that technique is the most important thing in getting a good shave. These are great blades, sharper but as smooth as the Personna blades I use and almost as sharp as the Feather blades I use sometimes. They sit between the Personna and Feather and offer great value for money when it comes to shaving. Get about 4 shaves per blade.

I get a standard number of shaves per blade which is around three or four depending on facial hair. A very smooth, sharp, comfortable and non-irritating shave with this blade. If you are new to DE wet shaving, try this first. Would recommend to anyone who shaves with double edged razors.

I don't know why but the blades I receive are not the ones in the picture. I have Perma Sharp and Gillette lettering in the top left corner. Didn't get a Perma Sharp Supers Receiver. Make sure you received the correct item. The seller in the comments sent this guy to some people who didn't seem happy with these blades either. I tried one and did 3 passes, it's a pretty decent blade but there was still some hair it couldn't cut.

Blades received. It could be seen that some folds along the edge were open and the entire box of 100 was wrapped in shipping tape. So I know the tucks were torn before shipping.
