Nice modern set. Both the stand and the shell are made of beautiful black metal. The stand has a decent weight. It also has foam padding on the bottom to protect any surface you place it on from scratches. My stand seems to have been crumpled up a bit during the shipping process. My only complaint is that the razor bar could have had a lip of sorts to hold the razor a little better.

This is a good value for money shaving pad. At the time of writing this article it was mainly selling for $30 and to be honest it was $10 too expensive. The physical stand itself feels solid and stands up well without hesitation. The part that holds my DE razor is open and big enough to hold my special razor blade. This is a well made and well assembled razor holder. I like the matte black finish. The only problem is that I accidentally ordered a two piece set instead of a five piece set and therefore didn't get the brush. And when I now buy a brush on the secondary market, I am of course not 100% sure whether it will fit. But that's probably user error. So I simply urge you to make sure you are ordering the right product selection. Recommended.

This retro brush holder looks great on my dressing table. Easily holds shaving brushes and razors (Gillette Fusion ProGlide). Stays in place thanks to the nice non-slip base, but needs to be wiped clean after use. The small bowl is handy for mixing shaving cream and storing it while you shave. Nothing spectacular and I expect the finish will loosen over time but so far everything looks and works well.
