👑 Perri's Billet Guard (Buckle Guard): Ultimate Protection and Style in Havana, One Size Review

Surprisingly soft leather for a new one. Our trainer asked where we were lucky enough to find used blanks. Goes well with the Pessoa saddle.

Much higher quality than I expected. The skin is just right - not thin but not hard. We have used them as additional "inverted" buckle protection on short webbing blanks.

I was a bit skeptical about buying these from Revain but wanted them ASAP so I took a chance and I LOVE THEM! Such a little thing to love, but the skin is so soft!

These protections do the job. They have already arrived in a very flexible state and are the perfect thickness to protect your saddle from webbing buckles but not so thick as to interfere with normal posture and contact in the saddle.

I needed a protective cover for a used saddle. First I bought a few other skin protectors, but I just couldn't put the blanks through the holes provided because the leather was too stiff and the holes were too small. I decided to try Perri's Billet Guard and when it arrived I thought the holes were too small but they aren't! The leather is soft enough that I can slide the blanks through the holes, but not so soft that I can stretch too much. These are very good guards for brutes.
